I wrapped up my awful day yesterday by sweating for 40 minutes on the elliptical which proved to be a great stress releiver. I’m thankful it’s Friday after this week and am determined to get more relaxing and kitchen experimenting in this weekend. For lunch today I had a salad with balsamic viniger as dressing and plenty of chocolate mousse with strawberries, excellent treat for the middle of a stressful day at work. Think I’ll try Carol Alt’s version next. I did not realize that Woody Harrelson was a raw vegan and I’m actually interested in Alicia Silverstone’s new book.
Converting to raw is a process, not something I could do cold turkey. My husband and I love to eat out on Friday nights, try new food and spend quality time after a stressful week. While I did eat vegetarian tonight, not raw. I got spicy tofu curry at a local Thai place, sadly it was the closest dish they had to raw.

And a vice that I’m still not ready to give up, I live in the center of wine-ville, it’s hard not to love when there are so many good wineries so close to us! But, I’m an occasional drinker that can usually not have more than a glass at a time, not something I feel too badly about at this point.

This weekend I’m looking forward to trying pumpkin soup and raw pancakes in my dehydrator, should be interesting.
